April Pad was born from an unexpected connection. In 2018, after a major media company in Central America closed, two experienced marketers (April Keaton and Warner Williams) met during a canceled flight caused by a local uprising. Stranded together, they shared ideas about starting blogs, recovering clients, and mastering Google.
What began as conversation on an airport bench grew into a clear vision: create an affordable, results-focused SEO service built specifically for people who couldn’t access agency-level support. Learn more about April Pad.
They brought in Katherine Valladares to handle the financial side, and the team began planning. The name “April Pad” came from the shared connection to the name April. After delays from the pandemic and other challenges, the platform officially launched in the early 2020s.
Today, April Pad continues that original mission from our base in León, Nicaragua, serving clients across North America, Latin America, and beyond.
