Darwin Thwaites is a young Puerto Rican blogger who started in 2019 and lost it all during the pandemic. After losing both parents, he threw in the towel and turned his back on blogging. His escape to work in Panama two years later changed everything.

In 2021, short story writer Jean Seale launched his new collection, Train Spirits. He contracted a Panamanian media company to publish his story.

When Seale met with Thwaites in the Best Western lobby that day, he had no idea that his life was about to change. During the conversation, he recommended that the author create a website for the collection, especially since he planned to release more books in the series.

However, there was a major conflict. The domain trainspirits.com was already owned and was already publishing free stories. However, Thwaites did not give up. He reached out to the owner and offered to buy the website.

When offered a partnership, they were both hesitant at first. They believed that Jean Seale had nothing to gain from the deal.  However, things took a turn for the better when Train Spirits invited Seale to read an upcoming series, Sons of Falling Stars.

After reading the first chapter of the series, Seale signed a deal that gave birth to a new Train Spirits.

What is Sons of Falling Stars All About and Why Did it Matter?

Every miner knows when they have found gold, and for this author, Sons of Falling Stars was worth his time and partnership. However, what made this series so special? Why did Seale buy into it? Did he so badly need the URL?

Thwaites is a Big Winner with Train Spirits

While most of the financial rewards may stay with the partners, Thwaites is also a big winner with the Train Spirits partnership. Finally, he is back into the blogging saddle after a four-year hiatus.
