Deliver At All Costs is just how it sounds! Players scramble for odd delivery jobs that involve just about anything you can imagine. Ranging from an old helmet to an overheating jeep, deliveries have never been riskier. Developed by Far Out Games, the game is set in the Cold War backdrop where work is scarce and absurd.

“From delivering a giant flailing Marlin to the disposal of an atomic bomb teetering on the edge of explosion,” say the developers, “always expect the unexpected.”

During the 1950’s, everyone is a suspect and every citizen is a double agent. However, these delivery workers are seeking bread and butter for their hungry families. Impulsed by their basic needs, no odd job is off the table even when it means bringing the whole building down.

As these workers make their deliveries, they often thread the thin line with run-ins with the local law enforcement. Fleeing a cop here, losing a friend there, or just driving like crazy for survival and freedom. “They will respond to your actions in the most unpredictable of ways,” say the developers.

Ideally, there is a lovely storyline that drifts this racing game. The tale is crafted around a “down-on-his-luck courier with a fiery temper and a mysterious past”. Players take on the role of Winston Green whose cargo gets weirder with each delivery.

Suddenly, the job is transformed into a living nightmare that enrages the cops and disturbs the once-peaceful St Monique. As Green discovers too late, there are ugly secrets in this little town that are creating both enemies and allies.

Nonetheless, there are more than secrets in this town. Players will delight to see how the annoyed venders hang onto their escaping vehicles. Sometimes, it’s possible to roam outside on foot but you should be careful as your car can get totaled. However, you can recover it later.

So far, the Swedish studio, Far Out Games, has contracted Konami as their publisher.  The team is made up of a band of students who formed a studio some years back to “turn our school project into our dream game”.
