As Destiny 2 lowers the curtains on Light and Darkness, players are anxiously awaiting the new Fate Saga, bringing in the Year of Prophecy.  Bungie Studio has provided insight into a full year of upcoming releases in the new storyline.

If you have not yet tried this shooter RPG, it may just be the perfect moment to jump in.  With a full year of content announced and the first release coming on July 15, Destiny 2 is the ideal gaming pastime this year.

However, gamers are currently locked into the  Episode Heresy, the final moments of light and Darkness. As you may imagine, some may be taking a breather and gearing up for the new saga. Others, on the other hand, are locked into battles and steep competitions as they vie for leadership of an era.

Launching Schedule of Destiny 2 Fate Saga

While players are awaiting the rollout of the new Fate Sage on July 15, there are a bunch of rewards that you can snatch. The first of these is The Rite of the Nine limited-time event that serves as an introduction to the new saga. It offers top prizes, including these.

1. The Cruel Mercy pulse rifle and the Inquisitor shotgun
2. Episode Revenant Loot Tonics and the Episode Heresy Tome of Want

In a recent post, Game Rant recommended that players take advantage of this introductory chapter. “Not only does the Rite of the Nine event offer exclusive, top-tier versions of the legendary weapons from the Dungeons featured in this activity, but there are also new secret collectibles hidden throughout this event that allow players to uncover the lore surrounding Orin, the Emissary of the Nine.”

The Rite of the Nine event is available right now, and players are having a ball of time. You can join them as they await these future events.

#1: Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate is a paid expansion and will open the official Fate Saga and start the Year of Prophecy. The event will launch on July 15, 2025, but you can watch the trailer above to get a foretaste of what’s coming.

#2: FirstCore Game Free Updates will bring system overhaul, new game modes, and bug fixes. The update will be released on July 15, 2025.
