Jagex Studio announced that its competitive mode for Old School RuneScape is now live. Dubbed Leagues V – Raging Echoes, the new completion will start on Thursday, November 27.

According to a press release published by Games Press, players will face new in-game challenges that will test their gaming skills. Players are invited to immerse themselves in the new content, completing standards and new tasks.

“Leagues V – Raging Echoes sees the return of a fan-favorite competitive mode that tests RuneScape members’ skills and combat through a series of challenging in-game tasks. Start a new adventure on a fresh character, complete tasks, earn points, and unlock relics to access new regions with additional challenges to face.”

Among the novelties of the new competitive mode is Combat Mastery. This is a new core of combat power that will change the way players progress through the League. This new system aims to give players more control over the battle buffs and boosts as the rage battles.

Another interesting change affects the Area-Locking feature, which has now become a permanent part of Leagues V – Raging Echoes. Not to mention the return of Theorycrafting and Enhanced Bosses, adding to fans’ enjoyment.

The press release further added that there were “huge XP rewards, fresh changes, and exciting new twists on classic Old School RuneScape gameplay.

“Leagues V – Raging Echoes is a highly accessible seasonal game mode for all RuneScape members to jump in and forge their path through Gielinor. ”

In addition, the studio has added a special membership package “providing access to Members content for the duration of Leagues V – Raging Echoes at a discounted rate, available for both new and returning players.”

Leagues V – Raging Echoes will run until January 22, 2025, and players can find more details on special packages on the game’s website. Old School RuneScape is available now on PC, Steam, iOS, and Android.
